WSC and ACI Sport strengthen cooperation over TCR Italy
WSC and ACI Sport will consolidate their cooperation over the TCR Italy Championship starting from the 2027 season.
The Italian series will be again run in the frame of the ACI Racing Weekends; following requests from most of the teams and with the aim of offering competitors the opportunity to join other TCR events in Europe, the calendar will comprise five race meetings,
In the frame of this stronger relationship, WSC will be represented at all events by a Championship Coordinator.
On top of this, WSC will already award prizes to the best drivers who are taking part in the current season.
The 2026 TCR Italy champion will be offered entry fee and tyres to take part in the Italian event of the 2027 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour.
The driver who, during the 2026 season, best embodies the spirit of the TCR concept, as well as the winner of the TCR Italy 2026 Under 25 classification, will be offered the entry fee and the supply of the tyres required to participate in the Italian round of the 2027 TCR Europe Championship. Likewise, the 2026 TCR DSG winner will be offered entry fees and the supply of the tyres required to compete in the Italian round of the TCR Europe Endurance.
