WSC provides a comprehensive range of services to TCR promoters and competitors worldwide. From balancing vehicle performance on track to delivering round-the-clock technical support, branding strategies, and global media coverage, WSC empowers every aspect of TCR competition. Control of performance

The WSC keeps direct control of the tools for balancing the cars’ performance on the track through the Balance of Performance and the Compensation Weight systems.

The Balance of Performance is established before the beginning of each season after a number of checks that includes assessment of downforce and drag in wind tunnel, assessment of the centre of gravity on revolving platform and bench-testing of the engines. The Balance of Performance is continuously adjusted throughout the season according to the cars’ performance and WSC issues dedicated Technical Bulletins to inform of the adjustments.

On top of this, a Compensation Weight system further adjusts the weight of the cars taking into accounts the performance of each driver in the respective championship. While the BoP is the same for all TCR series and applies to the car models, the CW is tailored for each series and each driver, adding a 0 to 40-kilo ballast according to their results in the previous events.

WSC issues the CW list after each race meeting.

Technical Support

WSC offers full assistance to the championship Promoters and their Technical Delegated through:

  • Organisation of on-line working groups about regulations and updates, before and during the season

  • Checks of results and software for checking the cars’ data

  • On-line access to the TCR Technical Area and 24h 7/7 assistance

  • On-site attendance on request at each TCR race meeting

WSC also assists teams and drivers providing access to a Technical Area where to find documents, regulations, bulletins and updates. TCR Technical Forms that are needed to run TCR cars may be downloaded from a dedicated area, 24h 7/7.

Promoter Support

During the season, promoter meetings are organized to address issues and foster cooperation among the various TCR championships. Marketing and sporting information are regularly shared, and additional support is provided on branding management. Logos and guidelines can also be downloaded from a dedicated area.

Media Tools

WSC offers consistent coverage to all the TCR-sanctioned events, through news published on its websites, press releases and the TCR Weekly Newsletter that is addressed to insiders, media representatives and fans. A selection of pictures is also available for download. Last but not least, most of the TCR races benefit from live streaming on a dedicated TV channel.
