Kumho FIA TCR World Tour’s media value grew further in 2025
WSC has disclosed the media figures and value recorded by the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour during the past season. These confirm the series as a fast-growing global touring car platform capable of delivering strong international visibility.
According to data certified by IRIS Sport, the World Tour’s total media value has increased by 103%, global reach has grown by 33% going up to 296 million, while 1.58 billion media contacts meant an increase by 120%.
Unsurprisingly, TV and streaming take credit for 85% of the media value thanks to more than 900 hours of broadcasting that generated 1.3 billion contactcs.
Digital and social media produced 5000 posts, resulting in a 1.44 million engagements and 272 million reaches.
The series’ strongest commercial performance was achieved in China and Pan-Asia, Europe – notably in France, Germany, Italy and UK – and Latin America.
As far as the events are concerned, Macau delivered the overall media value and attention, Mexico benefitted from the strongest TV and streaming coverage, while Korea and China massively contributed to the growth in the Asian market.
WSC President Marcello Lotti commented: “Although the Kumho FIA TCR World Tour was only in its second season, the 2025 figures testify to the championship’s global relevance and commercial potential. But we are not resting on our laurels and put in all efforts to keep on growing the championship and its media value.”
